36 patch quilt along

I started a 36 patch quilt along with Crazy Mom Quilts. It will be run for 6 weeks. I plan to make 8 blocks each week with a FQ bundle of Jane Sassaman fabrics paired with solids.

Farmer's Wife week 1

For the Farmer's Wife quilt along I chose a fat quarter bundle of  Westminster fabrics that I will mix with some dark toned solids.

I saw the Florabunda pattern Bonnie Hunter recently posted on her site and I knew my stack of fat eights from Moda's Fresh Flower collection would be perfect for this.

I only have 50 more blocks to make!

The Farmer's Wife Sampler Quilt

I joined a yahoo group to make the Farmer's Wife quilt. I am about 4 weeks behind but I think I can catch up as soon as I am done piecing my current top.

I am torn between 2 fat quarter sets: one of Jane Sassaman fabric and the other Westminster (I don't know the designer). I actually like Jane's fabric better but I think the scale is too large for 6" blocks? Any thoughts?
