You can't beat sitting around a fire pit on a chilly October day with friends. This was my weekend and it was wonderful.

My Cats
Here is a photo of all 3 of my cats on a quilt created from a Kaffe jelly roll. Honestly, the only reason the 3 of them would sleep together is because it is now starting to get cold and they want their collective body heat.

Moose on the Porch Quilts
This is the second block for Moose on the Porch Fat Quarters Quilt Along. I'm using reproduction fabrics in red, white and blue. I say "reproduction" in a loose way because these fabrics may be a copy of a colonial era cotton or from the Civil War, it doesn't matter, they will be used in this quilt.

Civil War Dresses Quilt
This quilt was 12 years in the making. I appliqued the dresses and sewed on old jewelry pieces onto the dresses. My plan was that this would be a wallhanging but my taste has changed over the years so for now this will live in an old chest we have.

Conversational Print Quilt
This quilt is made from conversational prints paired with a complemetary color. The center squares are stripe fabric left over from another quilt. I hand quilted this and used wool batting for the first time. This quilt is actually on my bed now.

New fabric
I bought these fabrics from Z&S Fabrics. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with them but I love them!
